IRCC Community Consultations

IRCC is in the process of gathering information to inform their 2019 Call for Proposals for both the Settlement Program and the Resettlement Assistance Program. Consultations are being held throughout the fall by the LIPs of Kitchener/Waterloo, Hamilton, Niagara and Guelph-Wellington.

GWLIP will be hosting their respective consultations in October.

The information gathered during these sessions will be used to guide priorities for the Federal Government to support the successful settlement and integration of newcomers.

Priorities will be based on the CORE principles as identified by IRCC, being programming which is:

Responsive to Need

an Effective use of Resources
