Newcomer Youth Mental Health Study
The Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership, along with the Centre For Community Based Research are excited to announce the Newcomer Youth Mental Health Study.
This study is being conducted from June 2020 to February 2021, and we are investigating newcomer youth experiences with good mental health, mental health challenges, and mental health supports in city of Guelph and County of Wellington. The study will end with a community forum, a summary of the study findings, and a space for discussion about future directions.
We are recruiting research participants who are newcomer youth (age 16-25) and parents of newcomer youth. Research participants will receive a $20 gift card.
An online mental health survey will also open on October 29th. Check back for more details then!
Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you there!
