The LIP is excited to share the new LIP Progress Report 2013 (please contact us about references.)

There’s great work being done in the community to create a city and county that are welcoming and inclusive. And there’s still more to be done.

The report highlights some data about immigrants in Guelph and Wellington County. It’s based on data from the Statistics Canada 2006 Census, the Statistics Canada Canadian Community Health Survey, and the Immigrant Survey conducted by the LIP and University of Guelph. The focus is on important indicators related to employment, language, programs and services, and community inclusion.
