ESDC Roundtable on Worker Protections

GWLIP has been invited to attend roundtable discussions with the Federal government ministry Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). This ministry is directly involved with the labour market aspect of the Canadian immigration system.

The roundtable will aim to improve protections for Temporary Foreign Workers through information sharing on their rights and protections as a part of the Canadian workforce.
