Come join us to launch Welcoming Week 2026 for networking and service information, a panel discussion, meet elected officials, and enjoy refreshments!

Welcoming Week is an annual campaign that connects neighbours of all backgrounds through community-informed activities and events. Welcoming Week provides communities the opportunity to publicly proclaim welcoming values, foster a mutual understanding between immigrants and non-immigrants, and build a deeper sense of belonging for all. It affirms the importance of welcoming and inclusive places and spaces and gives partner organizations an opportunity to connect with Newcomers in the community. This year, Welcoming Week takes place from September 10 to 19, 2026.
