The City of Guelph employs around 1,900 people in the wide variety of services and programs it provides. Through a variety of programs, the City of Guelph provides networking sessions and new opportunities for the newcomer community, along with awareness and education regarding skills in the workplace and an orientation manual supporting newcomer transition to the city. In addition, the City offers an Immigrant Internship program which recurs on an annual basis.
