GWLIP Statement – Solidarity with the Guelph Seventh Day Adventist Church

On behalf of GWLIP committee members and staff, we offer our condolences to the members of the Guelph Seventh Day Adventist Church for the hateful graffiti left on your church this past week.

While we are fortunate that the vast majority of neighbours that make up this community welcome and celebrate diversity, acts like this remind us that there is much work still to be done to ensure that our communities are safe and welcoming.

The GWLIP stands by the Seventh Day Adventist Church and any victims of such hate and offer our support in this trying time.
